Walmart is making big changes to delivery options for shoppers

Walmart has made a big change to the way their delivery service works, much to the delight of some customers.

The megastore responds to the fact that more and more shoppers apparently want to do their shopping online and prefer to order rather than actually go to the store itself.

Walmart has confirmed it is expanding its same-day delivery options to the early morning hours, starting later this month.

As a result of this change, customers who place an order online from 6 a.m. can have items such as clothing, household appliances, outdoor items or baby supplies delivered within 30 minutes in most cases.

This will be music to the ears of people who have had issues with Walmart stores lately and the changes that would have made the shopping experience worse.

With recent changes to the self-checkout system, it’s clear that Walmart is looking to increase sales as consumer behavior adapts.

“With Walmart’s early morning on-demand delivery and a range of other convenient options, we’re making sure you get what you need, when you need it, so you can reclaim your time no matter what the clock says,” it said company. Thursday in a statement, according to CBS News.
