Short stories to inspire our Future World-Changers series

BETHESDA, Md., March 8, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Laura Di Franco, CEO of Brave Healer Productions, is proud to announce the release of Brave Kids: Short Stories to Inspire Our Future World Changers, Vol. 2, the sixth title from the Brave Kids Books division and the sequel to the first short story book published last year.

Twelve of the 24 writers from the short story collection are back. The book is intended to be read by parents with their children and uses imaginative characters such as mango-loving crocodiles, dragons and mermaids. It contains stories that tackle a variety of common childhood issues. Among them are dealing with mean kids, dealing with grief, learning to trust their instincts, and standing up for what they believe in.

Di Franco notes that a portion of the first quarter’s profits from the new book will be donated to ROOTS Africa, an international NGO committed to ending world hunger and poverty Africa.

About the author

KJ Kaschula grew up in South Africa where she still lives part-time. She studied filmmaking at university and worked as an au pair Paris, France, her second home. She loves drawing and telling stories to children. She is the creator of The-Super-Dooper-Secret-Collection, a series of illustrated children’s books that follow the adventures of Little Lizzie, who encounters the mystical, magical and wondrous worlds that exist but have never been seen by children before. She is the lead author and illustrator of the Brave children series.
