Shopper says Target “purposely” sent them a Bible after they ordered strange books

A Target shopper is accusing the chain of deliberately sending them a Bible after they ordered a trio of strange books.

No one likes receiving a different item when you place an order online, but a Target shopper says the company deliberately sabotaged delivery.

According to TikToker “fooddaddy11,” two of the books in their order were “queer books,” but they had no idea what would come in the mail.

“What I received in the mail was very disheartening and should never happen to anyone,” they said as they showed the package from Target. “When I opened my package, I was given the Bible, which should never happen to anyone.”

Shopper accuses Target of deliberately shipping a Bible

Fooddaddy11 explained that they used to work for Target and understood the system, claiming that an employee went out of his way to bring out the books he wanted, put them aside and replaced their order with the Bible instead.

“It will also confuse their actual numbers for the warehouse because when a book goes, it has to go in the actual order it’s intended for,” they said. “I wonder who else has had this problem recently… this was done on purpose.”

In a follow-up video, the TikToker revealed that they reached out to Target directly looking for answers, but didn’t get the results they were hoping for.

A customer service manager apologized for the situation but believed the Bible delivery was just a mistake.

“The manager I spoke to sounded like she wanted to sweep it under the rug and give me a refund or resend the books. I told her I didn’t want it to happen again and that I would go somewhere else for the books,” they revealed.

The TikToker further stated that they had received a call from the business community about a possible investigation. However, so far there has been no update on whether or not the chain will follow up.

Fooddaddy11 says they will keep everyone updated on the situation, but says the whole issue has been very “overwhelming”.

This isn’t the only viral issue Target has been dealing with lately. Earlier this month, the store was criticized by a conservative mother for selling “inappropriate” spring dresses for children.
