Burgoo Lunch

I’ve been to Burgoo many times for dinner and love the hearty homestyle concept of stews and tagine dishes. I’m a big fan of the Lamb Tagine with couscous. I’d never really given Burgoo much thought for lunch, but after a morning of biking in North Van I was starving and the line-up at the other joints on Lower Lonsdale was a little much.

Thankfully Burgoo saved the day and I had a great open face clubhouse sandwich which was well into the gourmet range. All around the lunch was excellent and fit into the $12-$20 kind of range you might expect at a restaurant.

Burgoo has three locations: Lower Lonsdale, Kits, and Main Street in Vancouver.
