A while back I had heard about KFC offering a new sandwich called The Double Down, but had trouble finding it. I still haven’t seen it in Canada, but it appears that the bunless wonder sandwich is starting to make waves in the USA as evidenced in this CNN news segment. Dr. Atkins would eat this up for sure, and there is no doubt that the chicken farmers are happy, but what about the bakers, how do they feel that the bun has been usurped by more meat?
