Last Night’s Wine — Silkscarf Viognier 2008

My first impression of the 2008 Silkscarf Viognier was pear. Lots and lots of pear. In fact because I tried it blind I actually thought it was a fruit wine. This Viognier is definitely a smooth drinking, low acidity summer wine. All in all I like this one and it ranks closely to another favourite Viognier by Marichel Vineyards.
