Facebook Bra Color Status Update

Why is everyone posting colors on Facebook?
Over the past few weeks a bra-color related status update phenomenon has been sweeping Facebook. To those out of the loop it seemed a bit weird. What does this mean? Apparently it is a breast cancer awareness campaign where women change their status to match bra color. It’s actually quite genius in terms of marketing as it is sparking quite a lot of comment from what I can see. This is really the age where it is possible to inspire a trend with no money if your message is genuine.
The other thing that it has revealed to me is that most women where black bras.
Here is one of the messages that has been circulating amongst female Facebook users:
I’ve just been sent this..
Its just a little fun for us girls only..
Each of you write on your status what colour your bra is..
Nothing else, just the colour…. Then send this by private message ONLY, 2 all the females on ur frends list.. Lets see how quickly we can spread the wings of cancer awareness, and see how confused all the men get when they see just a colour as our status
